COMING ATTRACTIONS

Well, I (along with my two writers, Dene Bebbington and Michael Debbage) have survived the first "issue" of the new monthly version of Wind and Wire. I hope you have enjoyed the transition to a new cleaner and more "professional" look. Thanks to those of you who have emailed me with feedback about the redesign - I appreciate it and will take any and all suggestions/comments to heart (if you haven't emailed me, and wish to do so, click here). There is a lot more work to be done, of course, such as the review archives, and everything will get done in due time. Hopefully, I will finish it before I hit the big "5-oh" next year. Somehow, my turing fifty marks a transition period in my life and I want to get as much done before that as possible.

For now, I wish to extend my personal message of support to those of you who have friends or relatives involved in the war. Rather than state any overt political message, I will just offer my sincere best wishes for the safe return of whoever it is you miss and hold and dear. It is now when we need music more than ever, for it is true, as far as I'm concerned, that music "hath charms to soothe the savage beast." May music soothe your soul and give you respite from the chaos that swirls around us all.

Peace, out.
