I'd like to plug a new website. In the webmaster's own words, here's the announcement: "For Dutch speaking people there is a website to promote instrumental music classified as new age, EM, ambient, space music, and adult contemporary. This site is for radio people to find information about new music and artists, where they can find ideas for there presentation and promotional contacts. And for listeners to find information about the music that they hear on the radio stations. On the other side, music producers and distribution company's would find information about the way there music reaches its destination. A distribution / information channel between artists and radio stations and listeners. It's a project of Ronald Boortman whom have been a radio host for the dutch cable program Sound Soundings. The web site can be found by following one of this easy to remember urls. Well, we're here...at the end of all things, as Sam Gamgee once said to Frodo. I feel a lot of things: relief, sadness, jubilation, regret, resignation and a sense of anti-climax. It's been a loooooooong road and never ever an easy one but one that led to many wonderful and lovely places. For that, I will be forever grateful. Be sure to read "Looking Backward" for my official good bye. To everyone who ever wrote, called, visited, or even jsut sent me good thoughts, thanks. I'll miss you all but life goes on and hopefully we'll meet again somewhere down the road. Until then, hang in there and keep on truckin.' Bill Binkelman |
