The Best Recordings of 2003

WELCOME ANOTHER NEW REVIEWER!

Travis Briggs joins the staff of volunteers at Wind and Wire. Travis will be covering a variety of electronic music genres (see the SUBMISSIONS page for more info). Welcome to Travis!

BEST RECORDINGS OF THE YEAR!

Yes, it's that time of year of again when the intrepid reviewers at Wind and Wire select what they judge to be the creme de le creme, i.e. the best recordings of the past year. This is a free form survey, with each reviewer allowed to list as many or as few recordings as he wants, in any manner whatsoever. Here is a link to that page.

OUR SECOND YEAR AS A WEBZINE!

I converted Wind and Wire from a "glossary" format website to a webzine (with regular uploads in an "issue" format) in March of last year. Thanks to all of you who have chimed in with accolades on this transition. As always, I welcome your comments, good and bad. Just drop me a line and tell me what you think. By the way, Wind and Wire will be SEVEN years old this spring, being born as a grassroots fanzine in hard copy and evolving through many web-based incarnations.

That's all for now. Enjoy all the reviews (our most ever).

Peace, out.

Bill
