Welcome to the first issue of the
NEW and (hopefully) IMPROVED
Wind and Wire

Wind and Wire has been in existence for almost six years now (the hard copy magazine version went from April 1997 to October of 1999 with the website in operation since then). The web-based version (all five or six variations of it) has never been a real "webzine" with monthly uploads or "issues" (like my esteemed colleague, David Opdyke does at at his fine site, Ambientrance).

Well, it's finally time to join him. This is the first "online" issue of Wind and Wire, and I hope you enjoy it. I and my writers will do our best to stick to a monthly upload schedule, although (as I found out with the hard copy version of Wind and Wire) life always has a way of intruding into my plans!

What's New

Don't fret if you have come to enjoy Wind and Wire's reviews. They're still here obviously. In addition, as the new version builds up a head of steam, I'll be adding interviews, editorials, possibly concert reviews, and other keen stuff. This revision is very much a work in progress. I'll do my best to continue tweaking to make it better all the time.

Where did the old stuff go?

Older reviews will be moved into an archive as time permits. If you want to get to the old Wind and Wire site, click here. Other than that, please let me know what you think about the changes, even if you think they suck! (LOL)
