Without going into the same old song-and-dance routine, I'll just briefly note that personal life complications delayed and shortened this issue substantially. It's unfortunate, but as the saying goes, "Life is what happens when you're busy making other plans." The good news is that two new reviewers will be joining the staff in coming issues. That should translate into more reviews per issue in the future. The Zero Ohms (a.k.a. Richard Roberts) interview in this issue is an excellent read, possibly the most in-depth interview I have ever done. The interview itself was conducted "real-time" via email, meaning that each question was answered individually, one at a time, in an attempt to simulate the give-and-take environment of a "face-to-face" interview. With how time-sensitive reviews are for artists who release holiday music recordings, I will post holiday music reviews as soon as they are written on a special page that will have a link to it from this page and from the home page. I don't know right now how many holiday music reviews there will be, but this way you can read them in plenty of time to actually buy the music in time to enjoy whilst roasting chestnuts or relaxing by the fire. That's it for now. Drop me a line and let me know what you think, if you're so inclined. Peace, Bill |
